Who you’re working with
Patrick, founder. Based in Brooklyn. Background in production management and technical direction — film, video, theater, and live events — which is a long way of saying: hard deadlines, lots of moving parts, and no excuse for the thing not working on the night. That’s the mindset boltAItools is run with.
There are no account managers and no handoffs. You’ll have Patrick’s direct email from the first reply, and he’s the one scoping, building, and launching your project.
Blue is the studio’s AI co-builder. Blue drafts, tests, and writes up the build logs on Blue’s Prints. Blue doesn’t make decisions — Patrick does. Every page, store, and system is reviewed and owned by a human before it ships.
How we work
Honest, not a sales pitch. You get a straight answer on cost and timeline before you commit to anything. If we don’t think we can help, we’ll say so.
Proof by doing. Every project on the Work section is live and public, and the build logs show how each one was made — including what broke and how it got fixed. If there’s no real build behind a claim, we don’t make the claim.
AI is the how, not the why. We use AI where it makes the work faster and cheaper: planning, drafting, testing, first passes. It’s why a simple site takes days instead of months. It’s not why the work is good — that’s a person reviewing every deliverable.
